But just like any other art form, tattooing requires a certain level of dedication and education to be successful. Colibri Tattoo School is the educational path to start your journey into the tattoo industry. Our Toronto Tattoo school offers a comprehensive curriculum that will teach students the basics of tattooing, from design and composition to shading, line work, and use of different needles. The school also offers classes in traditional and modern tattooing techniques.
Tattoo artists have long been in demand, but the skills and knowledge required to work in this field can be daunting. That’s where Colibri comes in. We are a tattoo school that offers a pathway for artists to gain knowledge, basics of tattooing, and start a portfolio to be used to become a tattoo apprentice. Our program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this industry. In addition, upon graduation students will have a portfolio to use to apply as an apprentice at any shop and if Colibri has a spot available we may take on top students. We also provide graduates space at our studio to continue learning and practicing.If you’re serious about becoming a successful tattoo artist, then Colibri is the school for you!
Colibri Tattoo School Program covers:

3. Line work practice on the fake skin
4. Shading practice on the fake skin
5. Real life tattooing on models
Throughout the duration of the program, you will be under a constant supervision of one of our certified instructors. Also, you will be invited to join our WhatsApp group supported by our instructors where we share relevant and valuable information for students.

A 50% deposit is required before the start date ($1250+tax) which amounts to $1412.50. The remaining balance ($1250+tax) amounting to $1412.50 will be due on the first day of class.
No you do not. We provide all the equipment and supplies you need to perform all the exercises and drills for the duration of the course. After the course is finished, you’ll need to purchase your own equipment and supplies.
Yes, you must be 18 years of age or older to participate in our tattoo course.
Although having good artistic abilities surely helps, achieving your artistic goals at the Colibri Tattoo School can be greatly aided by your passion to learn and succeed in this art form. We will instruct on the correct tattooing procedures and strategies needed for successful tattoo application. Additionally, you will be required to do a variety of drills and exercises that will improve your tattoo machine accuracy and skill. At the end of the day, we think the secret to success is your interest in tattoo art.
